Featured Vendors - Hair & Make-Up!

More often than not, your “regular” hair and makeup stylist is not the person for you on your wedding day. Doing hair and make-up for a bride and bridal party is a completely different animal—it requires a different kind of timing and different sensitivity.
Make sure you get a preview of your hair style and makeup at least a month before your wedding day so you don’t have to worry about what you’re going to look like.  It’s one less thing to worry about.  With the right team, you and your party will look your very best! Do the bridesmaids need trials? Generally no, but if there is one with difficult hair you might want to consider it.
Once you find that excellent stylist, book a trial.  Stylists in high demand are usually booked 4-12 months in advance. After the trial you should feel as if you’ve been given the Star Treatment, feeling more like yourself than when you arrived!
Remember to find out the policies of your stylist. Can you add or drop people from your original estimate? Is there a travel fee? How would they prefer to be paid, for all or by each person? Stress with your bridesmaids about being ready on time with DRY hair! That is the number one complaint; when a bridesmaid walks in a hotel room with soaking wet hair – most stylist prefer to work with “day old” hair.
