How many ushers?

Q - How many ushers do I need?

A - Rule of thumb is 1 per 50 guests. But it's really ok to have whatever you want. If you don't have enough men to give the role or you already made them all groomsmen they can double as ushers. As don't forget you can have ladies as usherettes too! I think it's nice to have a "host couple" that greets guests at the ceremony and the reception. Guests feel like these people must know what's going on and will turn to them if they have questions.
