It's Inspiration Day...Centerpieces

I love this...but I love wrapping gifts. This allows for colors arrays and keeps cost low..

Think about the color, height and texture you'd like and ask your florist to suggest another option. And remember, you can get away with fewer stems if you display them dramatically..

Think outside the flower "box" too! Something that says you, your location, your honeymoon destination..

Hand-painted brown lighthouses numbered Liz and Jason’s reception tables. The lighthouses were adorned with blue hydrangeas, Queen Anne’s lace, and greenery.

Fruits and Vegetables, Spices and Herbs too..

A bridesmaid worked with the bride’s mother to create the flower arrangements, including centerpieces of peaches to symbolize longevity. The decorations on the two buffet tables and on the bars included woven baskets with bright green apples and grapes.

A little goes a long way sometimes..

Single stems can make a dramatic statement. Britni and Karl gave their centerpieces a firework-worthy style by placing a few gerbera daisies in colorful glass vases.

The week before the wedding, Sida headed to the gardens to choose the flowers that would be used on the big day -- mostly a mix of delphinium, lilies, cosmos, daisies, and lady‘s mantle. The flowers added color all over the farm on Sida and Andrew...

Consider different containers..

Whatever you do don't feel trapped, get creative. Allow your florist to help you get creative. Know your budget and work within it. On average most couples spend 10% of their budget on flowers. Be open to replacements if your first choice is pricey or out of season. Consider alternative to floral centerpieces if you want more from your personal flowers.
