Emily & Mike 11-2-07

Oh I have been waiting to post about this wedding. I just got the link to the pictures from Joanna Kleine and they are awesome!

Emily and Mike were a blast to work with. While I only saw Mike when food was involved it was so much fun to work with them both. Contrary to popular belief, wedding coordinators don't always get the final say in every detail but Emily took a lot of my advice in design decisions.

Emily was just radiant and Mike wasn't too shabby either!

Flowers by Brian at Alex Waldbart Florist

In these gorgeous vibrant colors the flowers really popped on the chocolate brown bridesmaid dress. The addition of feathers was unique and fun!

Quartet Brioso did a wonderful job as always - it's a great pleasure to work with these ladies.

Stationary from Two Blue Doors was breathe taking. The cohesive look through out her stationary was important to Emily.

The Cakery Bakery - this has now become their signature cake. It was Ericka's cake at her wedding and sought after by many other brides. We in the industry are affectionately calling The Cakery cakes "crack cake" you just can't stop eating it.

Decor - BBJ Linens Emily feel in love with the copper pin tuck the first time I showed it to her. We went through many ideas on the complimenting colors and I am so glad she keep the brown tones in the linens and let the flowers do the rest. With terra cotta bichon napkins and bichon in the center of the table (just chair ties), chocolate chair ties, and the taupe lamour chair covers it really was a great palette. Emily had consider the options given at WOW, but I think she will tell you she would do the linens from BBJ again in a heartbeat!

Lighting - Exclusive Events. We didn't need a single candle in this place. The amber up lighting was perfect. Funny thing - when he arrived, the videographer said to me "Did they remodel in here?" Nope that was all decor!!

Tables

Again the calla's used in this piece for the headtable to compliment her bouquet - all works together to create that flow from one part of the day to the next. The menus match the seating chart match the programs match the invites - nice!

I LOVE PHOTOBOOTHS!!! Here Mike & Emily take a break in the photobooth. Guests loved it, it was packed all night!! PhotoboothSTL has premier service and great set-up with different options and pricing.

And while you were waiting for your turn in the booth you can take a seat in the lounge area! Another Exclusive Events gem and party must!!

Lounge

One of my favorite features at WOW is the take home service. Anyone staying east of Jefferson can be taken to their hotel in one of WOW hard to miss shuttles. Here Mike & Emily jump in the taxi for some photos. Emily specifically asked that it be parked out front for these shots.
