Many of my clients put videography on the back burner. They either write it off right away or say “Well if we end up with room in the budget I’ll consider it”. This makes me sad, I really love videography. Passing the duty to Uncle Bob (not that I don’t love your Uncle Bob) just scares me. I had a neighbor who wanted to film our wedding and while it was neat to get to watch the day after the wedding. I was nauseous from the erratic movement all over the place. I won’t lie I was in the same thinking for my own wedding. I ultimately decided to splurge and book a professional videographer and I didn’t regret it!! It’s one of those things that you won’t find couples who did it and say afterward “We could have done without it” but you will find others before make excuses why they should not.
