So I have been a really busy girl wrapping up the season. We officially have one more wedding for 2008 and lots of 'end of the season' stuff to work on. I took a few days to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family and today I'm working on getting in gear again. As I clean off my desk, file papers, make to-do list, etc I can't help but think of all the things I'm thankful for:
1) My darling husband of 7 years and best friend for 12, Markand my beautiful son, Mason. Two reasons I get up each morning. I am thankful for not only their existence but the unconditional love I receive from them both. I'm thankful for the past years of laughter and many more to come.
2) My family: my parents for support and love. Even though my mom has started "We never see you, but I know that's because you're so busy" which is a guilt trip and comment all in one. And for my sisters who babysit all the time although I can't often return the Saturday night favor.
3) My friends: both personally and professionally, although they are now one in the same. Alisha for her rock solid support even if it's not what I want to hear at the time it's always great advice. Emily for her constant "what would you do" advice and hour long conversations about nothing. April for .... well everything - love, support, laughter, gorgeous hair and the often needed escape from life!
4) My clients: for believing in us as an exceptional team of ladies who just plain know what we're doing!! For many referrals and repeat customers, well as close as we get to repeats anyway with siblings and other family members. It's a joy to be a part of something so special and a thrill to see their smiling faces once again!!
5) My staff: I am a fraction of myself without my team! They are smart, talented ladies and a blast to be around. I look forward to many more years of them by my side.
6) My preferred vendors: These people make me look good!! With an exceptional team to reffer they continuee to make our events like no other! I would go crazy without their professionalism and of course sense of humor to get me through the day.
So thank you all!!
I'll leave you photos of my 1st thankful thing, taken by my 3rd...Thank you Alisha (and Luketoo of course) for the 5th year of amazing Torti family photos!
